Unit 1 Project

This week students began their in-class Unit 1 Project. Students were put into groups based on the project they chose to do. Students have ample class time to complete the Unit 1 Project; the project is not intended to be done in groups outside of school time. Students have been given directions as well as rubrics for their project, which can also be found on Parent Connect.

Although the students are working in groups, 30% of their grade is individualized. These individual points come from their presentation, in-class work ethic (as determined by me), and their peer evaluations (done in confidentiality by their group members). Projects will be presented on Wednesday, Oct. 19. I look forward to seeing students' creative side come alive as they bring deeper meaning to topics from Unit 1 through the projects!
